Do you have a piece of furniture that needs a little TLC? Or maybe you’ve been on the hunt for the perfect thing but nothing quite fits what you’re envisioning. Regardless of your reasoning, you’ve come to the right place. At The Loft it’s our passion to take older, often forgotten or even discarded furniture and redesign it in a way that gives it a new life. Or better yet, when a piece of furniture had been in the family for generations and we’re trusted to bring it up to its former glory. No matter what you need you can find it here at The Loft.

Consultation
So you’ve decided to bring in your own piece(s) of furniture for restoration! Or you’re requesting a commission. Either way, couldn’t be more thrilled! The length will depend on each individual and we will discuss price, timeframe, and most importantly what you’re looking for as an end result.

Restoration
Do you have a piece of furniture that’s been in your family for generations? Or maybe you recently found a great well-loved piece that just needs a little TLC. That’s where restoration comes in. We will do diligent research into the piece and restore it to its former glory. The price and timeframe will depend on the type of furniture, but this will all be discussed during the consultation.

Redesign
We’ve all seen those less than modern pieces sitting around and while they’re still beautiful, they were popular long ago and no longer fit our vibe. In that case we’d be thrilled to suggest a redesign. Rather than restoring the piece to what it had looked like previously, we can change the entire look. The sky’s the limit.
Note: This is the category the majority of our ready-to-go products fall under. We will often take unwanted pieces and turn them into something completely different.

Commission
The commission service is very similar to the redesign, the main difference being that you don’t have a piece of furniture for us to work on. This service is ideal if you have been dreaming of the perfect piece of furniture for your home, but either can’t find exactly what you want or the price is out of your budget. We will discuss what you’re hoping to find in your consultation, and then we do all the heavy lifting - literally! We’ll find the furniture and redesign it to your specifications.
Note: Currently we are not offering to build the furniture. The furniture that you will receive will not be made by hand, at least not by us!

Repair & Refresh
Does your favorite chair have a missing screw? Maybe your dresser is missing some hardware or maybe all thats needed is some freshening up - your furniture, that is. This is perfect for you, we can repair or freshen up your piece of furniture. This service doesn’t necessarily need a consultation, but depending on workload we may have to turn down a service or request a longer than normal turnaround time.

Cleaning
This service also comes with our other services at no cost, however if you have a piece of furniture that needs cleaning don’t hesitate to contact us. This service does not require a consultation.

Who We Are
Having opened just recently in 2021, The Loft is still a baby! It’s ran by a husband and wife team, with the wife running most of the show and the husband providing the extra muscle wherever necessary. The business was founded out of a love for art, interior design, and the passion to give new life to pieces of furniture.

Which payment methods do you accept?

How much will this service cost, how long will it take, etc.
Because everyone and every piece of furniture is unique, that’s not an answer I can provide. That’s why we offer free consultations, so we can go over all of that information together and come up with a plan that works for everyone.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking and the remaining 50% when the piece of furniture is picked up.
The price of service or product is ridiculous.
For our ready to go products we are willing to discuss prices privately to come to an agreement. However when booking a service we do have a consultation first where we agree upon a price, so after the Service Agreement is signed the price is non-negotiable.
What is your return/exchange policy
For all products excluding clearance, all items can be returned within 5 days for store credit or exchanged. Please note if you choose to exchange for a higher priced item the difference must be paid.
Do you ship?
Yes, we currently offer shipping to the continental United States. Shipping cost will depend on the size/fragility of the item. Returns can be sent back at the customer’s expense.
